What is the Altitude Gap Accommodation like?

Our Accommodation

Students staying on our BASI level 1&2 instructor course have the option of staying in our catered chalet accommodation. Almost all students opting to join our Gap course choose this option, which is a fantastic way of making friends with others on the course and ensuring you have everything organized in Verbier before you arrive.

Student Feedback

“Another thing I was impressed by was our accommodation, as it seemed to be better than other courses accommodation! Jon was also very helpful with anything we needed from accommodation to advise on anything whilst out in Verbier. I will be returning next year for my level 3!” – Jess

Our chalets are 3 or 4 star Swiss-style chalets, and have been hand-picked by Altitude Futures to make sure they have everything you need. They are all based in central Verbier locations, meaning you will be within walking distance of the lifts, shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a free bus service that runs around Verbier with shops close to all our chalets, so you don’t even need to make the short walk to the lifts in ski boots if you don’t want to!

Is Food Included?

Our catered chalets are half-board, including a continental style breakfast for you to help yourself to each morning, and an Altitude chef who will cook dinner each evening for you Monday – Friday after a hard day of training. At the weekend you’re able to try some of Verbier’s restaurants (the Pub Mont Fort is a popular choice!) or grab something from the shops to cook for yourself.

More Feedback..

“Altitude organised a great chalet for us near the sports centre. There were 14 of us in the chalet so there was never a dull moment. We had an insane cook, Mauricio and Alejandra, who cooked amazing food and were always great fun to have around. Mauricio is from Chile so he would surprise us with some delicious South American cuisine”. – Nick

You have the option of opting for either a single or shared room, with the single-room supplement being an additional 2000 GBP on top of the course fee for the 10-week course. The chalet is cleaned weekly and linen changes are provided regularly – another thing you don’t need to worry about! Washing machines for laundry are also provided in most chalets or a laundry service is provided free of charge.

All chalets have a comfortable living room, free WIFI, and mean that you have a place you can call home for the duration of the course. For some of our accommodation, there is also an option to extend your stay after the course for the whole season.
