The Altitude ISIA course is a comprehensive and enjoyable programme that prepared many others and me for the Level 3 Tech and Teach exams at the tail end of the season.
The course pushes your technical and teaching abilities. Verbier is a great place to be, with lots of accessible and exciting terrain, a programme that I would recommend to any aspiring ISIA, BASIÂ instructors and urge them to consider.
My level 3 (ISIA) has always been a goal for me since completing my CSIA level 2 in 2013 in Canada. I worked 3 seasons in Canada and then decided to bring it closer to home. Choosing to do the Altitude ISIA course turned out to be the perfect decision for me as it helped me not only transition to the BASI system but also train and make huge improvements in my own skiing bringing me closer to my level 3.
The Altitude coaches were really helpful and their different teaching styles helped me to improve my personal skiing level.
Meeting Jon on the lift he got me thinking ahead for the following season, so I started to look into my future with Altitude and booked on to train for my ISIA.
