Verbier is renowned for its huge ski area, however don’t be fooled in to thinking this is all Verbier has to it! Verbier is a lively party town with plenty of nightlife so if you’re still full of energy after a day on the slopes why not head to some of the places mentioned below to unwind?
The fun starts at Ice Cube next to the Ruinettes lift station. Some days they there is a live dj set in the afternoon when you can enjoy some great house and electro music. Ice Cube is also one of the best spots to enjoy the sunset. On the way down, head to the 1936 bar just before the Mayentzet chair lift; this is a great place to relax in the sun after a hard day of skiing or snowboarding without having a long ski down afterwards. The Farinet Après Ski is located in the centre of town and is the venue for live bands and extreme après ski. This is a lively bar for those happy to dance the evening away in ski/board boots, but be warned you may be required to dance on the bar, down shots or even perform a stage dive!
A must-do in Verbier is the Offshore Cafe. This laid back surf lifestyle bar has a great atmosphere and is one of the best lunch spots in town. You will find most ski instructors there at lunchtime, but you should also try the happy hour from 4pm till 5pm.
Another fun packed après bar is the Pub Mont Fort. This is located right next to the Medran lift station so it is ideal for those not wanting to walk far from the slopes! With an outside terrace it is an ideal sun trap and later in the evening it often hosts themed nights such as the Mini Me Pink Party and end of season Beach Party. This is a favorite with the English tourists and locals and it can get extremely busy!
For a more relaxed and luxurious early evening, head to the Farinet Lounge. This is part of the Farinet hotel but set in an Asian themed room with large leather sofas and table service. Famous for its Pornstar Martinis, the Lounge Bar is an ideal celeb spotting bar and later on it plays hosts to famous DJ sets such as Hedkandi.
If you manage to reach the early hours of the morning head to the Casbah for an evening of cocktails, dancing and good music. For more music head to the Farm Club, one of the oldest clubs in Verbier. It is very famous for its visits from members of the Royal Family and is also is a favorite with older generations! With the price list aimed at very wealthy clientele it is one of those places that is worth a try but slightly out of date in a town like Verbier!
As well as providing top quality lessons by day, by night our Altitude instructors are happy to show you where the best places are to party! In Verbier, you can certainly expect to both ski and party to your heart’s content!
