Further Development
Altitude is a BASI affiliated Ski School and on successful completion of the GAP course, if you wish to continue your snowsports career Altitude can offer support and training opportunities towards the next level of your BASI Qualification.
Altitude Ski and Snowboard School also run ISIA training courses for students wishing to progress and gain their BASI level 3. Our team of friendly international coaches will provide a comprehensive training package to you throughout the season. This professional training will be complemented with the opportunity to work as a part-time instructor for Altitude during the busy weeks of the season. See our ISIA training course page for more details.
Note
BASI have just reorganised their level system. What use to be known as the Foundation is now called BASI Level 1. The BASI Grade 3 or Ski/Board Instructor is now called BASI Level 2. What was BASI Grade 2 first changed to Ski/Board Teacher, ISIA but is now called BASI Level 3 ISIA. The BASI Grade 1 changed to International Ski Teacher, ISTD and is now also called Level 4.
In practical terms nothing has changed and you will achieve your BASI Level 2, Instructor qualification on successful completion of the course.
