BASI LEVEL 4
Altitude ski and snowboard school are offering all ISIA instructors and ISIA course participants the opportunity to continue to develop their skills within a supportive and caring environment.
It is possible to choose from either the Level 4 Development Course or the BASI Level 4 Training.
Altitude’s 10 years experience training ski instructors to achieve their full potential means that if you choose to participate in further training with Altitude you will be sure to maximize your development, learn new skills and embark on a clear pathway to success.
LEVEL 4 – DEVELOPMENT
The course will include 100 hours of on snow coaching which will focus on developing both your technical and teaching performance beyond the ISIA Level. This will be combined with a teaching position in the school.
Each student will have their own dedicated mentor to offer them ongoing support throughout the training. Having attended this course you will be in a perfect position to move towards the Level 4 training, exams and beyond.
What’s included?
Technical Training
- Train with ISTD’s, Altitude Team Riders and Swiss Coaches
- Mentor to help design a training plan based on your objectives.
- 10 hours of Piste performance in Dec
- 15 hours of off piste adventures with Andre Sommer WFT Ranking 9.
- 25 hours in January developing your ski performance
- 15 hours of Race Training in Feb.
- 15 Hours of Bumps training in March
- Second discipline training in Tele or Snowboard
Teaching Development
- 20 hours of on snow coaching in Dec developing your teaching skills
- 15 hours of shadowing race camps
- 10 sessions of skier analysis
- Opportunities to run supervised gap sessions
Work Opportunities
Altitude provides a part time holiday contract with Altitude Ski School. We also provide the work permit and possibly the coolest Ski School uniform in Verbier.
Pre Requisites
Level 3 technical ISIA qualification or have previously attended the Altitude Futures ISIA program.

The cost of the package is £1250.
LEVEL 4 – TRAINING
The futures training team includes BASI trainers, BASI Level 4’s, ex Italian Racers, Argentinean Demo Team members, Swiss Patents and Italian Maestro’s. You will benefit from expert training with skiers from different systems which will ultimately help you to become an all round stronger skier.
The training program includes a combination of piste performance, race training, bumps, and off piste training. Our goal is to improve your skiing and prepare you for the Level 4 BASI exams and the Eurotest. You will also be working for the ski school during the busy weeks of the season providing lessons to our clients or varying abilities.
