This winter, to celebrate nearly 20 years of running ski instructor training in Verbier, we have decided to offer some free places on our training courses, 16 free places to be precise!

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”bottom” css=”.vc_custom_1559231450412{margin-top: 0px !important;}”][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1559230956496{margin: 0px !important;padding: 0px !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”7977″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css=”.vc_custom_1559230920752{margin: 0px !important;padding: 0px !important;}”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1559231436158{margin-top: 45px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Many years ago, Altitude Ski & Snowboard School in Verbier (well Dom Cowdell, ex Ski Instructor to be fair) invented the concept of the ISIA work and train program. Following this great idea…he then went on to marry an Australian girl (who he met through our BASI 1 & 2 course – she was on a carer break!), and moved many miles away to work on a beach (now using his teaching skills to teach beach rescue).

Anyway, since Dom’s great idea, Altitude have run many successful instructor training courses and supported many new instructors on their pathway to becoming better skiers, human beings (well some), working full time, and also becoming BASI 3’s, 4’s or even BASI Trainers.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”45px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Our Experience” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%230076ab” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”title-caps”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]We know that our big strength in Altitude (apart from a great coaching team) is our ability to provide a positive environment and support instructors in further developing their teaching skills whilst also being surrounded by very experienced and caring instructors who are on hand to offer support where necessary. We have since expanded and run a network of schools throughout Switzerland and France, creating great job opportunities in future seasons following completion of the course.

Anyway, enough about why we are great (or strive to be), this year we have actually thought it would be nice to send some positive energy out into the universe and invite some instructors to apply for the opportunity of free training. (Just to be clear this was not Dom’s idea as he is too busy saving people from shark attacks in Oz to ski much these days). Instructors can join us for free training whilst also building teaching hours working for us.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”8164″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row content_placement=”bottom” parallax=”content-moving” css=”.vc_custom_1559230618070{margin-top: 0px !important;margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”7994″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Why should I apply for a free ISIA Training Course with Altitude?” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%230076ab” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”title-caps”][vc_column_text]Well why not? It’s 100 hours of free training! On a serious note, you will massively improve your skiing ability, its great fun and you will probably make some good friends for life.  If you are professional and pass the interview you will get to experience life working as a ski teacher in a top resort. Oh and you no doubt will increase your chances of passing your BASI 3![/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”45px”][vc_custom_heading text=”Which resorts can I work and train in?” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%230076ab” use_theme_fonts=”yes” el_class=”title-caps”][vc_column_text]Verbier, Zermatt, Gstaad or Klosters  – All of these resorts have been chosen because they offer some unique qualities. Please note when choosing your resort there will be work opportunities in the main holiday periods in each resort, however there may also be some additional hours outside of these weeks in Zermatt & Kosters.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” bg_type=”image” parallax_style=”vcpb-vz-jquery” bg_image_new=”id^7871|url^https://www.altitude-futures.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/video-cover.jpg|caption^null|alt^null|title^video-cover|description^null” bg_image_repeat=”no-repeat” parallax_sense=”10″ css=”.vc_custom_1559230893026{margin-top: 45px !important;margin-bottom: 45px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”45px”][vc_custom_heading text=”I’m keen, what do I need to do to apply?” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%23ffffff” google_fonts=”font_family:Raleway%3A100%2C200%2C300%2Cregular%2C500%2C600%2C700%2C800%2C900|font_style:900%20bold%20regular%3A900%3Anormal” el_class=”title-caps”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_column_text el_class=”white-p”]If you might be interested then please email info@altitude-futures.com  and let us know the following:
